    "These injuries have been happening early in our games, and I can not leave the other guys hanging," Klesla said. "If the bone isn't broken, you have to try and be out there."

    And yet Klesla struggled to play through. He had a hard time seeing the entire ice and reacting to the puck. He "didn't want to get burned," so he ditched the birdcage and returned to the standard half-shield helmet.
