How does one connect to a virtual reality from home?I'm asking again because I had no answers last time after 10 hours.
Putting on a helmet to go to a virtual reality seems pretty amateur if you ask me.
What methods do you think are better?
I watched a program about

- My experience with digital virtual-reality technology began quite serendipitously in the mid-1990s.
Walking down a hallway, I passed by the open door of a colleague's visual perception laboratory, stopping to observe a student moving around in it while she wore a futuristic looking helmet that covered her eyes and a backpack frame on which all sorts of gadgets were mounted.
Without knowing what she was seeing, I could tell that she was someplace psychologically that she wasn't physically. Her head and body movements suggested clearly that she was searching for something and that she was engrossed in the task. I later learned that she was in a three-dimensional digital maze searching for specific objects.
Intrigued, I asked my colleague if I could try out the gizmo. He agreed. I donned the equipment and immediately found myself on a large plane extending to the horizon with blue sky above. No matter which way I turned, the plane was endless and, quite frankly, boring, but not for long.
