A man riding a motorcycle died Monday when he crashed into the side of a van that had pulled in front of him on the roads of Goshen, and Valentine.
Witnesses told police the van was stopped at the intersection about 5:50 pm, according to a statement from the County Sheriff's Department Allen. The van went into the ditch, while the bike stayed on the road.
The man who was driving the motorcycle was wearing a helmet but died at the scene, according to Cpl. Jeremy Tinkel, spokesman for the sheriff's office. Tinkel has not submitted a notification of the man of family identity on hold.
The driver of the van was not injured.
